Beautiful English manor house on the Brockhampton Estate...

On a warm and sunny October day I visited Brockhampton Estate in Herefordshire and was amazed at the beautiful and romantic timber framed manor house which dates back to the late 14th century. It was picture perfect and still had roses rambling round the door in full bloom... It is surrounded by a lovely cottage garden and a large damson orchard and to walk amongst it all was like being transported back in time to a more tranquil era...

  1. Lovely photos, can't believe that lots of summer flowers are still in bloom in October. I still have, roses, hydrangers, bizzie lizzies and several others still in flowwer in my garden.
    Enjoy your travels. Sue

  2. Europe has a really beautiful countryside, and though these are attractive manors, most of them don’t have inhabitants. Houses like this are really expensive, and normally they don’t get sold too often, as the English opt to keep their houses for their descendants, but I must say this place is lovely. If I had a house like yours, I would be contented living in it once I retire.
