Just finished this little "Stash and Dash" bag from an Amy Butler pattern. And have used Orange fabric for a change... not completely satisfied with it so will have to make another but perhaps in cool greens....

your first attempt looks ok to me....but it always helps if your zip and thread colour match the fabric, so maybe try that next time. But keep going, it just takes practice!
